New Release: XBOX Live, Castle Crashers
Well as some already know I’m quite the fan of Newgrounds. The animation, the games and the general community. I’ve been a member since around ‘04 but have frequented the site almost daily since ‘01.
Tom Fulp, the creator of Newgrounds and Alien Hominid (another popular independant video game) has banded together with his good buddy Dan Paladin to create Castle Crashers for XBOX Live. From developers at The Behemoth this game has been in production for longer than I can remember but the detail within is absolutely stunning! It has the familiar ‘Paladin’ illustrative style that most Newgroundlings will be used to and the animation is perfectly fluid from every head chop to every explosion. For anyone who loves the classic side-scrolling mash ‘em bash ‘em up style arcade games of the 80’s and 90’s you sure to get enjoyment out of this medievil scroller.
If there’s one thing to download from XBOX Live this fall (besides Braid) its Castle Crashers!

Got the trial, it’s fucking awesome.
Not sure about the 1200 point price tag though, I may get it at some point. Seems like it would kick lots of ass on 4-player.
I cant tell you now, four player mode is pure awesome. The game just kicks ass in general.
