Finding out about our heritage, learning about what life was like in the past is something that has always fascinated me. In much simpler times when the world wasn’t as small as it seems today Jeff Altman provides us with some gloriously colourful footage of San Francisco in 1958. Great mother of zombie goodness! This CG trailer for Left 4 Dead just shows that when it comes to zombies and video games, there’s nothing that doesn’t work. Yet again I’m left wondering why these guys don’t make feature films.
THQ have released a game trailer for their upcoming action/horror/RPG/survival/shoot-em-up although who knows how it will play with all those categories.
The game is based on the popular Eastern European cult novel Metro 2033 from Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky and being developed by 4A-Games.
I actually tried watching the official version of this video and it almost destroyed my will to live. I’m impressed at how they managed to put this parody out so damn fast! Thanks to Foomandoonian for the heads up on the video.
This one seems to have passed me by…not sure how as it looks like a fairly stylish game with plenty of action and versatility.
What do you think…good enough to get?
The Aussies certainly don’t do things by halves. So far from around the world we’ve seen Sony adverts that have been humorous, confusing, intelligent and sometimes scary, so why not add extreme?
If you didn’t tell from the advert (and why would you) the offer is for a free PS3 with a purchase of a Sony Bravia television set. I don’t think Sony suggest you try this at home either.
Now this is clever marketing. Well it is for all those that never picked up the first two God of War games (like myself) and became interested in the third in the series. You get to play both games (in hi-def) on one disc with plenty of time before the third game comes out. I’m sold.
The first Uncharted game was just the same. I would play for hours and she would watch, following the action. Although I never complained as I got to play the game so I can’t fully relate.
George Clooney is certainly working his way around Hollywood these days and that’s no bad thing. The guy’s career has gone from strength to strength and ‘The Men Who Stare at Goats’ looks like another decent flick to check out.
