There are no words… just lololololololololololololollol olol….. (no literally that’s ALL he’s singing)

The singer in the video is Edward Anatolevich Hill (or Edward Anatolevich Gil, depending on who’s translating), a singer named “Honored Artist of the USSR” in 1968 and “People’s Artist of the USSR” in 1974.

Although the vocals are actually Edward’s, the most interesting thing about the video is the fact that the entire song is lip synced (poorly) and that the lyrics are purely sounds as opposed to actual words. Although the song and setting seem strange, the context of the song and the performance are often lost on westerners.
